Even
Wikipedia has omitted Balance as a principle, one of the most important for successful composition, in my opinion. Whole books exist on the subject, and
I plan to give balance the space it deserves in the future.
Another
feature I will deal with will be balance between objects or shapes, and spaces
between, including the proportion of space in a composition.
Wikipedia
has mentioned approaches… ways of dealing with various subjects, but not very
completely. I believe the study of approaches to making art is a more natural
way to integrate the information about good composition.
Understanding
the Golden Mean and Rule of Thirds, underlies what is sensed intuitively, and valuable
for the person who has integrated it into their process already.
